| Position Description: | The Detention Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of Detention Center employees including ensuring the proper care of detained residents within the scope of departmental policy and procedure. The supervisor is responsible for conducting and coordinating the detention activities program and in the absence of administrative personnel for the operation of the facility. |
| Minimum Requirements: | (a) A bachelor's degree in human services with one (1) year of experience with a child caring institution or criminal justice agency. Or;
(b) Two (2) years of college in human services with two (2) years of experience in a juvenile facility, a child caring institution, child placing agency or a criminal justice agency. Or;
(c) Any appropriate combination of education and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and ability demanded of the position will be given consideration.
