Position Description: Under general supervision of the Director of Substance Abuse Treatment/Prevention Services (TAPS), provides a full range of clerical services with high word processing proficiency utilizing personal computers and other technical office equipment. Establishes and maintains procedures for proper maintenance of records and files for data collection.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent with courses in typing, computers, office practices, and general business. Three years clerical experience in substance abuse field. Knowledge of office practices, English, medical terminology, math, computers, word processing software, general business, and spelling. Strong organizational and public relations skills. Ability to work with people with varied cultural backgrounds. Ability to type 60 nwpm and use computer keyboard. Experience with statistical programming. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to learn and adapt to new software programs.
