| Position Description: | Drives a small lift-equipped bus, car, or van to provide door-to-door transportation service to elderly passengers. Assists passengers to enter and exit vehicle and assists to portal entry at destination. Keeps records of vehicle usage, performs routine vehicle maintenance, and daily/weekly safety checks, cleans vehicle for safety and comfort of passengers and oversees the general well-being of elderly clients who utilize the service. An on-call driver is used to fill in for regular staff. |
| Minimum Requirements: | High school diploma or GED. Must be able to aid mobility-impaired passengers who require support, wheelchair assistance, or other type of guidance or escort assistance. A valid Michigan Driver's License with a Chauffeur's endorsement and a satisfactory driving record. |
