The Saginaw County Metropolitan Planning Commission (SCMPC) serves as the Policy Body for transportation planning activities conducted by SMATS, the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). The SCMPC also serves to support and advise the planning efforts conducted by the cities, villages and townships in the county.

New Items and Notices
TIP Amendments. Several amendments of the 2014 thru 2017 Transportation Improvement Program have been requested. Priority Roads Investment Program. Several projects in Saginaw County have been included in the Michigan Legislature's "Priority Roads Investment Program." These are portions of M-47, M-81, and Miller Road. Click on the link for the full project list: Priority Roads Investment Program
