Staff provides
assistance to local governments on planning and zoning matters in
several ways:
- Serving as a
technical resource providing information and suggestions on various
planning and zoning topics as they arise.
- Providing review
and recommendations on proposed land use plans and zoning ordinances,
or amendments to current plans and ordinances.
- Assisting communities
in the preparation of land use plans and zoning ordinances on a
contractual basis, as staff time and work loads permit.
