SAGINAW COUNTY RAIL-TRAIL

The Saginaw Valley Rail Trail will utilize an abandoned railroad right-of-way to create a 9.87 mile non-motorized trail which would permit such uses as walking, bicycling, cross-country skiing, rollerblading, and other non-motorized uses.  It is intended that a separate path be developed adjacent to a portion of the paved path to accommodate horseback riding.  The linear park will start at Water Street in Lumberjack Park, Village of St. Charles, and end at Paines Junction in James
