With the exception of the 1st Floor Clerk's Office, the Saginaw County Courthouse will be closed from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on November 2, 2021 for employee training.  Only those conducting business with the Clerk's Office will be allowed entry into the building during these times.

PUBLIC NOTICE: 2021 Edward M. Byrne Justice Assistance Grant Allocations

The United State Department of Justice (USDOJ), Office of Justice Programs Bureau of Justice Assistance announced the release of the 2021 Edward M Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) allocations. The USDOJ funds assist in supporting local criminal justice / law enforcement initiatives.

Saginaw County is determined to be a “Disparate Jurisdiction” as directed by USDOJ JAG funding protocols and policy. As such, collective allocations must be negotiated between the affected agencies. The Saginaw County Sheriff’s Office and the Saginaw Police Department will negotiate the 2021 JAG funding distribution totaling $62,895.00.
