Flood Mapping

The Saginaw County Office of Emergency Management is seeking grant funds to install a flood gauge and develop flood inundation maps for areas surrounding the Tittabawassee, Saginaw, and Cass Rivers. 

Grant funds are being sought through a Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Grant.  Installation of the gauge and development of the maps are in conjunction with the US Army Corps of Engineers and the US Geological Survey. 

There will be a public hearing at the November 7, 2023 Courts and Public Safety Committee Meeting held at 4:00 PM in Room 200 at 111 S Michigan Ave, Saginaw, MI 48602.

Public comments may also be submitted until November 17, 2023, by mail to Saginaw County Emergency Management at the address above or by email to emgmgr@saginawcounty.com.
